Dr. Qadri's Hematology Centre & Clinical Laboratory

Dr Qadri’s Hematology Centre & Clinical Laboratory (DQHCCL) is a Specialized / Advanced Clinical Laboratory recognized by Government of J&K and registered with Directorate of Health Services vide Registration No.DRA/CMOSgr/2024/001 . Dr Qadri’s Hematology Centre & Clinical Laboratory has the distinction of being the first NABL accredited Laboratory ( Hematology, Clinical Pathology, Cytology, Biochemistry and immunology ) in Jammu and Kashmir.

DQHCCL was established by Dr (Prof) M. Ismail Quadri  on his return from Regional Laboratory Eastern Province, Daman Central Hospital, and KSA where he worked as the Head of Department. He had previously worked as Prof and HOD Hematology and Blood Bank at SKIMS, Soura. Prof. Qadri has more than 40 years of experience in Hematology & is a recipient of Common Wealth Fellowship at Royal Free Hospital, London, UK in 1988 . He is a fellow of the prestigious National Academy of Medical Science.

The aim of establishing this Laboratory is to provide quality Clinical Laboratory services to the people of Kashmir and deliver accurate results in shortest possible time DQHCCL is a pioneer in bringing automation to the private sector in Kashmir. It was the first private Laboratory to install Sysmex XN 1500 & XN 550, COBAS Modular (Cobas 6000) and now Cobas Pro & Cobas PURE, BactecAlertD, Vitex 2 & Roche Tacqman 48. . DQHCCL successfully introduced machine interfacing with Laboratory Information Management System along with bar-coding to the valley.
